The Wedding of Tom & Desi
Tom and Desi would like to invite you to their wedding on Sunday 22 August at 5pm at Sveti Sedmochislenitsi Church, Sofia, Bulgaria, followed by a reception at Happy Village in Boris’ Garden, Sofia.
We will be organising activities for Friday evening and Saturday daytime so we hope that you can come to these too.
Children are very welcome.

Transport
We will be organising transport between the church and reception. Taxis will be available from the reception back to your hotel.
Taxis are generally very cheap (40 pence a kilometre). However, there are some scams which you need to be aware of, which we will describe closer to the time.
Accommodation
If you would like us to book your accommodation (see below), please can you let us know your interest by the end of February.
There is a large selection of hotels in Sofia. Below I have included selection of top end, mid and budget hotels to help you in your choice. They are all located within the centre.
Alternatively we are negotiating a deal with the Kempinski Zografski Hotel (a 5 star hotel with pool and spa) 2km out of the centre of Sofia but only a 5 min taxi ride. Rates still to be confirmed (and dependent on the numbers who choose this option) but will be around 100 Euros a night per room.

Getting there
The main carriers are British Airways (Heathrow) and Bulgaria Air (Heathrow and Gatwick). The low cost are Easy Jet (Gatwick) and Wizz Air (Luton). Flights are currently between £125 to £225 return but clearly this is likely to increase closer to the time.
Skyscanner is very helpful for finding the best price and Expedia is good if you want to fly elsewhere afterwards (i.e multiflights).

Weather
Temperatures for August usually range from 25c to 35c, so be warned it can get very hot.
Presents
We appreciate that a lot of time and effort will be involved in your coming; having you with us means a lot to us and we do not wish to have any presents.
